Jancsó100 – The Master and His Friends
Joint commemoration series of the Jancsó Miklós Friends’ Circle and Republikon Foundation
On the 100th anniversary of his birth, his family, colleagues and friends evoke the epoch-marking figure of Hungarian film and theatrical art. The framework of the program series is provided by the exhibition to be opened of the photos taken of the Master, which is built on the rarely or unseen snapshots taken by those closest to him – Nyika Jancsó, János Kende and Ferenc Grünwalsky.
